JHS The Sweet Tea V2 Overdrive & Distortion Pedal

If your looking for one drive pedal that will do everything and do it well, this it it! It covers all the bases from clean boost, light breakup, blues, rock, heavy grind and more. It started as a Custom Shop build for Roger Fortner of www.fortnerguitars.com several years ago and has become one of JHS's best selling units because of its small size and HUGE punch.

The right side is JHS's take on the vintage TS808 circuit. It has a smoother, more usable tone control and all the character you would expect from this classic legendary design. High quality components yield excellent bass response and lower noise than any unit on the market. The V2 now has a 3 way gain switch for 3 different vriaties of drive saturation and flavor. Even the current reissues can’t hang with this one!

On the left side is JHS's very own “Angry Charlie”. High gain JCM 800 type “Brown” sound tone that we believe is the most accurate Marshall tone ever put in a stomp box! It has volume, drive, tone and presence controls. The presence control allows this monster to bring any amp into submission and make tone that will have ears wanting more. The V2 now has our famous order toggle so you can choose what circuit comes first in the chain. This is great for stacking in different ways and for getting a wide range of tones.

With these tones combined or used separately, the Sweet Tea is more tone than you can shake a stick at!

Every circuit is hand wired, every case is hand drilled and no detail is overlooked. The enclosures are die-cast metal and topped with a custom hand painted design or a powder coated finish that is guaranteed to turn heads.  JHS make true bypass switching our standard bypass on all pedals for optimal signal integrity when your pedal is off. However, we also give you the option of adding our high impedance buffer to any pedal we make so that your tone can stay strong in a large pedal setup.
