The ZVex Vexter series Fuzz Factory is one of our most popular fuzz pedals, it used old-stock 60's germanium transistors to create some truly unique fuzz sounds. The Fuzz factory has 5 parameters giving you total control over the fuzz, it is very touch responsive and you can spend hours sat down and tweaking to find a new sound.
Unlike most fuzz designs, the Fuzz Factory is not based on other fuzz design and is totally unique !
Why are Vexter series cheaper than the hand painted series?
Because they are hand silk-screened instead of hand-painted they are cheaper to produce. They are still all hand-assembled and made using the same high-quality components.
Controls
Volume - This controls the output level
Compress - Adds attack or a softer edge. You can use it to get some nice fat fuzz feedback
Stability - Adjusts control of the fuzz, CAUTION- can cause loud squeaking noises if used incorrectly
Gate - Squelches noise after end of sustain. Eliminates hiss, buzz and squeals or turn down to dial in feedback
Drive - Increases the distortion,
ZVex Effects offer a distinct variation on the traditional genre of effects. With hand painted enclosures and unrivalled modability (especially with the Inventobox) the ZVex pedals certainly break up the old rules of how stomp boxes should be.
