About the Knaggs Tier 2 Chena in Winter Solstice
This is a stunning Knaggs Chena Hollowbody finished in Winter Solstice, this is a Tier 2 Instrument and features an exceptional flame maple top, morning star inlays and gold hardware. During his time as head of R&D at PRS Guitars, Joe Knaggs was instrumental in the development of the PRS Hollowbody Guitar. When the time came for him to develop his own Hollowbody under 'Knaggs Guitars' , Joe took these developments one step further and created the 'Chena'
The result is an instrument that is incredibly resonant with a beautiful acoustic tone that is finished to highest standards.

Joe Knaggs is a former master-builder for PRS Guitars and we key in the development of several famous PRS Models including the Hollowbody, Mira & Stala Models. He was also one of the most respected & requested Private Stock Builders and eventually became in charge of the Private Stock program.
All designs/creations are named after American Indian river names. Chesapeake line models Choptank, Severn, Potomac & Patuxent are named after tributaries to the Chesapeake Bay while the Influence line Kenai, Keya, Chena, Sheyenne are named after rivers in North America. Wood & Materials are carefully selected and processes are state-of the art. A skilled team of experienced senior guitar builders are making sure the end result is as good as it can possibly be: creating the finest instruments and providing the best tools for players and guitar aficionados.
